Peer review process
The papers that meet the objectives and scope of the journal are submitted to an arbitration process carried out with the participation of external evaluators by academic peers, in charge of the quality, relevance and originality of the articles, under the double-blind modality, guaranteeing the anonymity of reviewers and authors. These determine whether contributions should be accepted or not. For more information, see the POLICIES AND GUIDELINES option.
The journal approves the possibility of the author suggesting a reviewer or a peer review report. However, it reserves the right to accept or not the proposal.
Process of evaluation of an article:
Phase 1: Sending the original. The author can also send arbitrations prepared by recognized science professionals. However, the journal reserves the right to take this recommendation into consideration or not.
Phase 2: Evaluation by the editorial team of the magazine of the shipment received; it is analyzed with anti-plagiarism software and it is decided whether the work will be reviewed by experts or if it is discarded, either for formal or content reasons.
Phase 3: Evaluation of the original by two experts in the corresponding subject area. In the event that the author sends the arbitration carried out, it is processed for verification by the editorial committee of the journal. It is up to him to accept or not said contribution. The journal offers instructions and a form, which allows reviewers to assess the quality and relevance of the articles. Arbitration periods can take up to 3 months. The articles that are not answered by their authors in the determined time, are considered other new arbitrators; moves to a next number or rejects .
Phase 4: Exchange and consensus between authors and/or reviewers. Authors who receive their papers with suggestions and/or modifications have up to two weeks to respond. If these periods are not met, the journal may send the work to other reviewers.
Phase 5: Sending the result of the evaluation to those responsible for the journal.
Phase 6: Completion and completion of the work.
Phase 7: socialization of the work.
