Physical recreation is a social phenomenon where man satisfies his recreational needs, in correspondence with social relationships. The Recreation program in sports teams needs changes based on knowledge, skills and giving due importance to the education of social actors to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the content itself. This research responds to the problem of a community related to the rescue of peasant traditions in the most intricate places of the Tercer Frente municipality. Its objective is to develop a set of recreational activities for the neighborhoods with the most difficult access, taking into account tastes and preferences during their free time, in the “South” population settlement of the Popular Council of Arroyo Rico. They increase participation, while enhancing the culture and personal relationships between these citizens. The methods used were: analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive, documentary review, pre-experiment, observation, survey, and mathematical statistics such as empirical frequency distribution. In the proposal, very valuable recreational activities are exposed that take advantage of the resources and characteristics of the population context in order to promote peasant traditions through the activities developed. Research and its results play an important role related to recreational-educational management that allows in one way or another a healthy life for the entire population, the possibility of satisfying their recreational needs in organized activities; as well as the strengthening of feelings and values of the personality.
