Activities to develop social abilities on autistic scholars using horse-therapy.

Abstract

This investigation arose due to the need of facilitating a tool to the Physical Culture professionals of the horse-therapy provincial center, with the necessary elements for the educational attention to autistic scholars from the special school "Efraín Alfonso Liriano", Sancti Spíritus. Scientific methods were used such as: theoretical, empirical and statistical-math level; the work was carried out in the academic course 2012-2013.  It was studied the potentialities of the use of horses to develop social abilities in the autistic scholars of this center of study, from the physical activity in the horse-therapy sessions.  The diagnostic showed positive aspects to improve the affective ties, empathy and communication among scholars, as well as with the center personal. The elaborated proposal constitutes a way for the social abilities development in autistic scholars, in a becoming, enriching and creative environment, in contact with natural environment.
