The Tai chi as a pedagogic alternative for the treatment to the asthmatic students

Abstract

The teachers that work in the rehabilitative areas have each time new social requirements referring to the influence that exercises the discipline therapeutic Physical Culture in the asthmatic student’s integral formation. The prevalence of this illness are each time bigger and he forms it of teaching of superior education he must contribute to physical development and in turn permitting that the student take possession of knowledge that they make a contribution to the harmonious development of personality and of his general integral culture, in addition to aspects related with the characteristics of his illness, the different methods for his treatment, as well as the lifestyles that must be embraced to contribute to the increase of life expectancy. From this perspective the process of teaching - learning for university students with ages among the 17 and 20 years, it implies integration in the acquisition of knowledge. In such measure he needs the quest of new methods and better contents elaborated. The ones that intend to in this investigation are based on the Tai's techniques chi, a millenarian Chinese art that he surpasses being an art of warfare and it opens his doors in proven gaining to the health.

This investigation, gather the more significant therapeutic aftermath of work in the area among the courses 2013 and 2015. The asthmatic students were examined that chi during 4 semesters, the ones that experienced reductions of very significant crises received the Tai's exercises.
