Abstract

The development of fast strength is one of the most significant aspects in the preparation of wrestlers. Changes in rules of competition demand a greater motor activity in wrestlers, and succeed in competitions depend on a great extant upon the athlete´s capacity to develop the maximum muscular strength in the shortest possible time during the execution of technical actions, without losing its structure. Evaluating the survey that was applied, it is possible to realize that the technical – methodological level of coaches is defective taking into account the answers given to the questions in such survey. In this research work, a methodology for the preparation of fast strength for free wrestling athletes in the 14 – 15 years old category from Santiago de Cuba EIDE is put forward. After being advised and showed their experiences, all coaches agreed with the methodology proposed in this work.
