Knowledge management system for managers of Villa Clara Sport Center

Abstract

The main objective of this research was to design a knowledge management system for managers from the Provincial Sport Sector in Villa Clara. Authors’ criteria and aspects related to knowledge management and managers’ preparation are theoretically analyzed, specifically in this organism. The actual state of the process is diagnosed, the system is elaborated and finally it is applied and evaluated from the experts’ criteria. Through the research, scientific methods and techniques were used such as: the systemic approach, the synthetic -analytic, the documental revision, the interview, the working in group technique, the investigation, the triangulation, the experts’ consult and the statistics mathematics method. To apply the techniques and methods some samples and population of managers and agents to increase levels were used. The design system is distinguished due to the activities it includes and the tools it uses which improve the managers’ knowledge management obtaining a higher efficiency. The results obtained from the experts’ evaluation about the designed system prove its quality, feasibility, objectivity, necessity, as its importance and originality.
