Ensino com o modelo de solé: efeitos na compreensão leitora e na metacognição em crianças

Existe a necessidade de gerar evidências empíricas sobre a efetividade do modelo de Isabel Solé para melhorar a compreensão leitora e a metacognição em estudantes do ensino fundamental, considerando a importância de aprimorar os processos de ensino-aprendizagem com eficácia. Nesse sentido, o objetivo deste estudo foi demonstrar a efetividade da aplicação de um programa de estratégias de aprendizagem baseado na metodologia de Isabel Solé para melhorar a compreensão leitora e a metacognição em crianças ginastas do quarto ano do ensino fundamental de uma instituição educacional da região de Piura. Foi utilizado um delineamento quase-experimental com uma amostra de 64 crianças do quarto ano, distribuídas em dois grupos independentes (Controle e Experimental: n = 32 cada grupo). A intervenção consistiu em 12 sessões extracurriculares fundamentadas no modelo de Isabel Solé. O grupo experimental apresentou melhorias significativas em todas as dimensões do pós-teste, incluindo compreensão literal (2.9 → 4.1), inferencial (2.8 → 4.0), crítica (3.0 → 4.2), conhecimento declarativo (2.8 → 4.0) e regulação processual (2.7 → 4.1). No grupo controle, as melhorias foram mínimas e não significativas (p > 0.25). A comparação intergrupal no pós-teste, por meio do teste de Mann–Whitney, apresentou valores de U entre 240.0 e 280.0 e valores de Z entre −3.22 e −3.75 (p ≤ 0.001), confirmando diferenças significativas em favor do grupo experimental. O uso do modelo de leitura de Isabel Solé aumentou significativamente tanto a compreensão leitora quanto a metacognição nos alunos ginastas do grupo experimental. Os achados corroboram a efetividade de estratégias ativas e reflexivas para potencializar o processo de aprendizagem.
