Habilidades comunicativas: efectos en las competencias interpersonales y el clima escolar saludable en educación básica

Las competencias comunicativas y el clima escolar saludable son dos pilares fundamentales para el desarrollo integral del estudiantado, su potenciación requiere estrategias efectivas de intervención que deben ser evaluadas integralmente. Por ello, se ha planteado como objetivo demostrar la efectividad de un programa de habilidades comunicativas para mejorar competencias en el área de comunicación y el clima escolar saludable de los estudiantes deportistas de educación básica en una institución educativa de la provincia de Sechura/Piura, 2024. El estudio de declaró cuasiexperimental con dos grupos equivalentes independientes (control y experimental, n=28 cada uno). Se implementó un programa de competencias comunicativas y se analizaron sus impactos en habilidades comunicativas y en el clima escolar. Se emplearon técnicas validadas (escala Likert y ECE-Primaria) y exámenes no paramétricos Se determinó el tamaño representativo y suficiente de la muestra a través de G*Power. El grupo experimental mostró mejoras significativas en todas las dimensiones comunicativas: Expresión (M=4.14; Z=−2.45; p=0.014), Observación (M=4.07; Z=−2.61; p=0.009), Empatía (M=4.10; Z=−2.74; p=0.006) y Pragmática (M=4.00; Z=−2.37; p=0.018). El grupo control no evidenció cambios significativos (p>0.05). En clima escolar, el grupo experimental mejoró significativamente (Convivencia escolar: M=3.71; Z=−2.89; p=0.004) y Justicia y normas (M=3.75; Z=−3.25; p=0.001), entre otras. La prueba de Mann-Whitney postest confirmó diferencias intergrupales significativas en todas las dimensiones (p<0.01). Los valores de U oscilaron entre 172.5 y 244.5. El programa de competencias comunicativas tuvo un impacto positivo y relevante en el desarrollo de habilidades interpersonales y en la percepción de un entorno escolar más saludable.
