RELATIONSHIP FORCED VITAL CAPACITY, MAXIMUM CONSUMPTION OF OXYGEN AND WORK CAPACITY IN CORRIDORS OF SPEED

Presently work is valued the relationship between the forced vital capacity (FVC), the maximum consumption of oxygen (MCO) and the physical work capacity (FWC170) in young runners of the Eide (Integral Sportive School) of Holguín. For the modern trainer, the planning and evaluation of the resistance means a more and more dosed and complex challenge, for the sake of being able to maintain the sport form; with the result that it becomes necessary the support of a multidisciplinary community that controls, direct and evaluate the training scientifically, to guarantee a parallel evolutionary development with its physical conditions by means of the pursuit of its capacities. It was detected an insufficient application of functional tests of land and laboratory that allow to establish the functional characteristics or specific profiles in corridors of speed. The main results were: FVC= 3,532±0,519L; PWC170=1206,12±12,02 Kgm/min (female) y PWC170=1750,0±70,71 Kgm/min (male), VO2 máx.=4,230±0,19L (female) y VO2 máx.=5,030±0,155L (male), being obtained a significant difference among both mensurations (P ≤ 0,05).
