The fundamental objective of the research is to develop a program of physical-therapeutic exercises for the rehabilitation of these people with ALS in the INN that contributes to the delay in the progression of the disease. In 2013, care began in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Service of the Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery (INN), for people with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). In this framework, concerns arise related to the treatment itself, which require an exhaustive bibliographic review. There are several scientific proposals for physical-therapeutic exercise programs for the rehabilitation of certain diseases, but no similar proposal has been found for ALS. This program must be distinguished by conceiving the existence of a functional classification for these people that locates them by stages, according to the great clinical and symptomatic variety of the disease and is made to correspond precisely integrated exercises with specificity in their ordering and sequencing that are adjust to the tolerance and degree of physical deterioration of the patient, also identify the type of rehabilitation that they require (support and palliative) directed to the physical, functional and social. Upon finding out the lack of a methodological pathway with specificity for the physical rehabilitation of these people that contributes to slowing their progression, it was decided to resolve it through research methods, the participatory technique or the search for consensus Phillips 66. The aspects evaluated were: a) quality formal and intrinsic program, b) adaptation and adaptation to the context and c) acceptance of the program.Downloads
