This study aims to provide the initial elements to understand the need, knowledge and applicability of these concepts in High Performance Sports. Our goal is to provide the initial elements that allow us to understand the need for knowledge and applicability of this concept in our sports organizations. We use the research methods: Historical-logical, documentary review, analytical-synthetic and system approach. It is applied in all sectors where human activity takes place. Sports organizations are no less susceptible to the changing influence of advanced management technologies. Managers in general must know the basic elements of the same in their entities, in order to coordinate their initiatives, proposals and specific responsibilities in the general context of the organization in which they work or in which they intend to be inserted
