The prevention of sports injuries in Physical Education is a priority that is related not only to sport and those who practice it as teachers but also to the students of the different careers or specialties that receive it. Safety guarantees the acceptance of this subject and that the sense of love for physical activity or belonging for the contents received related to this sports program is strengthened. It is clear that it is best that there are no setbacks while Physical Education is taught and that it flows through a coordinated prevention program that gains in organization. To do this, thinking about injuries and how to prevent them is essential. In general, injuries can be mentioned as sprains, with their different degrees, strains, bruises, fractures, swelling and deformities, pain or sensitivity to touch, lack of mobility, grinding sensation, dislocations, fatigue fractures and others. As a result of this research, the institutional agreements related to the implementation of the Physical Education curriculum are reviewed, taking into account the prevention of injuries in the practice of the subject. The kinesiologist defined a sports injury as a sporting gesture that can be caused by a bad movement of the person or a blow received from outside the person who suffers the injury. Sports injuries vary according to the intensity with which they occurred and it is revealed that 80 % of injuries are to the lower limbs and the rest to the upper limbs. The most frequent injury, according to the respondents, is a sprain followed by a tear. Preventive aspects are based on adequate training of the physical education teacher or professor and the athlete in the theoretical aspects of medical issues related to injuries and the way in which they originate.
