Abstract

The research objective is to achieve the text understanding, starting from the use of cognitive and meta-cognitive strategies for the information search development in Physical Culture students. It is proposed some learning strategies to gain access to the text and to improve the reading levels according to the independent study. The important aspects of the research are: -the consultation of different bibliographical references and the results consideration of previous researches related to the Faculty scientific projects and –the use of cognitive and meta-cognitive strategies to make students able to learn how to understand, in this way this communicative skill can become an intelligence act that contributes to the professional formation.
