Abstract

The present paper, entitled Recreational Actions to Socialize a Confined to Bed Patient, of outstanding importance for its significance, can be used by physical education professors who work in a neighborhood, and mainly by families of those people, transmitting them needed an precise guidance. It provides recreational activities to raise self- esteem of the confined to bed patients for different reasons. A set of recreational activities for power socialization processes were designed. To obtain this result there were used different methods and techniques, such as: interviews, surveys, observations, Coppersmith self-esteem test, and the socio graphic.

With the application of the actions the social relations, interpersonal communication, attitudes, value of self-esteem of the patients improved considerably. The confined to bed patient has limited mobility in the limbs, but he is in fullness of psychological and mental faculties, he has the well-preserved memory, language is clear and precise, so he has no difficulties in logical thinking, being able to perform the selected recreational activities. The authors verified that the state of satisfaction of the patient was favorable after practicing the actions, so it can be concludes that the activities are feasible, as shown by the results obtained through the techniques put into practice.
