The quality of the class of Physical Education in the primary school: present time and perspective

Abstract

The objective of this study resided in designing methodological alternatives to elevate the quality of Physical Education classes in the primary school, through the contextualized methodological work. The used of inductive-deductive and systemic-structural-functional methods, allowed the analysis of the essential features, distinguish characteristics quality of this process, in addition, was revealed as main limitations: the incoherence adaptation to the practical activities to the scholar individuality, scarce hierarchial to the treatment of the motivational level in interpersonal relationships, the reach of the independence and the creativity of those people. As result, was obtained a system of methodological alternatives, whose impact generated changes positive in 86% of the teaching staff when assuming the quality of the classes, nonsingle in the search of the physical performance, but also in the capacity for acting of integral formation of the students, considering social-educational contexts and its psyco-pedagogical characteristics. Based on this study, one of the main conclusions obtained was concentrated in the manifestation of the conscious assimilation of sport practice utility for the scholar and the differentiated methodological work directed to the professors, as contribution to the profit of educative quality.
