Abstract

This research contributes to an action system that aims to re-orientate the tactical definition and its preparation for the training chess process. It presents a way or method that shows how to work with it within the training class in order to improve the performance in the middle –game phase. The scientific methods used were: systemic-structural-functional, analysis -synthesis, inductive- deductive, observation, documentary analysis, measurement, interviews. The sample was made to 10 chess players of the provincial school pre-selection as well as 10 experienced trainers in this category from Santiago de Cuba.
