Abstract

Prose and Verse. Literature and sport weekly (1894-1895); is the first publication in Santiago de Cuba whose main theme is literature and sport. Directed by Juan Ducazcal, pseudonym of Joaquin Navarro Riera (1872-1950), and Luis Yero Miniet (18¿?-1931) administration. Among his collaborators appear as important figures Desiderio Fajardo (1862-1905), Rafael Pullés and Palacios (1858-1917), Diego Vicente Tejera (1848-1903). In their copies a constant practice of physical exercises and sports activities in the city concern shown.
