Abstract

The preparation of the Physical Education professor does not culminate with the conclusion of the studies at a given level. Professors need to start a new period of widening knowledge, getting deep into it and putting into practice all the professional skills when getting into the labor activity. According to this preparation, there is dissatisfaction in the achievement of Ministry of Education (Mined) and National Institute of Sports and Recreation’s (Inder) indications about teaching chess in the elemental level in primary schools and teach it with the required quality and efficiency. The present investigation proposes the elaboration of a Multimedia of Chess for the professors of Physical Education in primary schools to develop pedagogical and didactic capacities in the teaching of this sport. In order to achieve the aims of this work the author used some methods. They are from the theory level: analysis and synthesis, induction-deduction and system approach, when determining the theory and methodological fundaments of the aim of the study. From the empiric methods can be found: the interview, documental analysis, analysis of the content when identifying the pedagogical and didactic capacities that a professor of Physical Education needs to fulfill the task of teaching chess in primary schools.
