Methodology for selecting possible sports talents by specialists' consensus.

Abstract

This research tackles a very important topic that concerns the Cuban sports scientific community, related to the sports selection process. It is based on the Sports Preparation Program instructions, Sports Strategies, as well as qualified specialists' opinions. It is given a methodology for the sport selection to enter to the Sports Center. It is necessary the establishment of a selection process from the specialists' opinions and their consensus from different profiles that takes into consideration the sports selection, which is the scientific newness; instructions and value levels have to be considered through a relationship system in correspondence to the current demands of this sport. The scientific methods used were: analysis-synthesis, inductive-deductive, functional- structural systemic, for theoretical arguments and the elaboration of the proposed methodology. Besides, observation, specialists' opinions, measuring, interviews and discussion groups for the diagnostic and to support the proposal validation. Moreover, the statistic- math method was used through the percentage calculus for the results valuation and interpretation.
