Abstract

The current text was presented at the pre-event course “Two approaches toward a sustainable Volleyball: from Pedagogy and Sports Orthopedics” which was imparted at the VII Volleyball International Convention. The authors refer to the sustainable sports preparation in Volleyball.  Some aspects treated are: the pedagogic process basis from sustainability; besides the analysis of the causes that incites the school athlete’s SOMA injuries; it is offered important recommendations to prevent injuries in the population, a frequent threat that affects participant children’s yield and protection at the base and medium level of high yield in Cuba.
