Abstract

This research aims to contribute to health education in university students from the Physical Education subject. Among the fundamental antecedents are Chillón (2005); Marracino (2010); Espinosa (2010); Uguet, (2014), Romero (2016), Ruiz (2018). These authors focus their research on issues related to health, highlighting the importance of physical activity in individuals. However, new research is needed directed towards Physical Education in higher education, which guarantees students better prepared to achieve healthy lifestyles and thus face other tasks in their future performance. To solve this problem, research methods were used such as theoretical, analytical-synthetic, observation, research techniques, including the interview and the survey. The results provide a greater perception of risk while promoting the development of healthier lifestyles in university students from the activities programmed within the teaching process. The proposed activities are a complement to the educational process with higher quality, which allows 95% of the students in the sample to show healthy changes in their modes of action.
