Didactic system for the identification of possible talents in baseball in sports initiation

The article aims to reveal the results of the implementation of a didactic system for the identification of possible talents in baseball in the sports initiation of the Santiago de Cuba municipality. The following authors De Armas (2017), García (2019) and Martín (2021) were taken into account as the main background information. The behavior of identifying possible talents constitutes a topic of great importance, considering their contribution to high performance, as well as the increasingly growing possibility of their practice at the base. This determines the need to enhance the process of identifying possible talents in the sports initiation stage as a cooperation/opposition sport. Action that proposes conceiving talent not only in its personalized but collective character. The teaching system is based on the systemic-structural-functional method and modeling. Inferential statistics and expert judgment were used to evaluate its feasibility. Its application revealed changes in the modes of action of baseball teachers when working with the sports group and became an object of professional improvement for the pedagogical group and specialists.
