Abstract

In the world of physical activity and sports, it seems that no one questions the great socializing power and contribution of ethical and moral values of this type of practice in the formation of the individual. Generally, it is accepted that concepts such as camaraderie, fighting spirit, knowing how to win, accepting defeat well, respect for the rules, teammates and opponents, are inherent to sports practice. (Blázquez Sánchez, 1999). The ethical values of the athlete have to do with him individually, it refers to his behavior in his life, according to the norms, rules and laws that organize sporting activity and that are accepted by institutions, countries and society in general. Hence the need to encourage them in the individual so that they act consistently in the practice of sport from their formation at a very early age, in their personal and social life. The research is qualitative and descriptive in nature. The analytical-synthetic method was used to search and process information regarding the research topic. The inductive-deductive method allowed us to establish generalizations based on common cases and, from them, deduce logical conclusions and specify the generalizations that are presented in an enriched manner. The historical-logical facilitated the status of the research topic, analyzing its background, causes and the conditions in which it has developed over time. Therefore, it allows us to delve deeper into their particularities and draw on our own experiences for the future application of what this topic proposes. For this reason, a social connection project is important, since it aims to rescue and develop the ethical and moral values of sporting talents so that, in their sporting life, those who arrive know how to conduct themselves well and be an example of an athlete; But it is even more important for talents who do not reach the goal of playing sports professionally, because these values will guide them towards the construction of a complete, educated and useful human being for society.
